About G3N3ZIS

G3N3ZIS is Petur Reynisson, the Minecraft creator who builds G3N3XUS, an in-game hub for Minecraft Java Edition, and the Genesis HD texture pack.

CREATOR

I make the things I want to play with: a hand-made HD LabPBR texture pack (Genesis, 64x to 1024x), a 3D wardrobe with real hair and clothes, shader settings tuned for Genesis, maps, and a radio that plays original stations while you build. G3N3XUS puts all of it one click away, inside the game.

ARTIST

Every surface in Genesis starts as art and is tuned by hand until it reads right in the game, with shaders.

STORYTELLER

Minecraft is a stage. I film in-game stories and short comedy sketches, and write a light-hearted devlog, Blocks & Blunders, about what worked and what blew up along the way.

THINKER

Minecraft has always been a game about making things your own. Making the game itself your own should feel like magic. So I built a door.
